City Tour Cabo Frio

We begin the tour at 8:00 AM with passenger pickup from hotels and inns in Cabo Frio and Arraial do Cabo. Aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle, we head toward the Historic Passagem Neighborhood. The trip is accompanied by a bilingual guide, ensuring a pleasant and informative experience from the very start.

We arrive at the Passagem neighborhood, the first neighborhood of Cabo Frio, marked by cobblestone streets and well-preserved Portuguese colonial buildings. From there, we take a partner boat to cross to Japonese Island, which takes about 10 to 15 minutes.

A stop of approximately 1 hour to enjoy this paradise of shallow, crystal-clear waters, so transparent that you can see fish swimming around you. The spot is perfect for swimming, relaxing, and taking photos, surrounded by lush nature that truly lives up to its reputation as one of Cabo Frio’s most iconic postcards.

We return to the starting point with beautiful views of the canal and the surrounding landscapes.

Guided tour through the Historic Passagem Neighborhood, considered the first urban settlement of Cabo Frio, established during the Portuguese colonization in 1615. The neighborhood preserves its original features, with cobblestone streets, century-old mansions, and colonial architecture.

During the stop, we visit historical landmarks such as the Church of Saint Benedict, Largo de São Benedito, and other architectural gems that tell the story of the city’s origins. Approximately 30 to 40 minutes to explore and capture beautiful photos.

We then head to the stunning Fort Beach, the most famous in Cabo Frio. Stretching for about 7.5 km, it’s known for its soft white sand and crystal-clear waters that shift between shades of blue and green. The scenery is perfect for relaxing, strolling along the shore, and enjoying the tropical vibe. Free time of up to 2 hours for swimming, walking, or visiting the historic São Mateus Fort, one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the region.

Break for a delicious lunch at a partner restaurant, featuring a varied and tasty buffet. The atmosphere is pleasant and air-conditioned, perfect for recharging your energy.

After lunch, we head to Park Lagos Shopping Mall, the main shopping center in Cabo Frio. Free time for shopping, relaxing, or enjoying a coffee with a view of the lagoon in a modern and pleasant setting.

We end the tour at the traditional Bikini Street, famous for bringing together dozens of beachwear stores offering factory prices. Take the opportunity to shop and pick up souvenirs from this unforgettable day.
